There are many different types of fiber supplements that can be recommended for different purposes. But when your doctor or registered dietitian recommends a specific supplement, how are you supposed to take them? Note: it’s important to start small with fiber supplements to avoid increasing your GI discomfort. Please be sure to follow your doctor or registered dietitian’s instructions when starting a new fiber supplement.
